Abstract

The Construction design VE is globally utilized in proven management technique that can incarnate project budget and performance enhancement. The importance is outstanding by institutionalizing that duty applies since Jan, 2006 to public construction work more than 10 billion won total construction cost from Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs in the case of Korea. However, there are a lot of difficulties by lack of experience and operative ability about the VE technique on an application process. To selection VE object is the biggest point at issue. From the research which it sees hereupon while the construction project which becomes accomplished from domestic VE case which are applied in express highway construction project it applies a value index (VI) concept and it analyzes with VE objective selection items where the value improvement effect is high under taking a establishment. The established items through enlargement of VE achievement are judged to qualify improvement and competitive securement in domestic construction industry.
