낙동강 하구역 사주 지형 변화 특성 연구
- Abstract
- Nakdong river estuary, located in southeast of Korea, has complex morphological change due to several external factors such as wave, tidal current and river flow. Many studies about the development and long-term morphological changes of a shoal in the Nakdong estuary have been conducted, but there has many questions about its generation and development. Mapping of the shoreline and foreshore has traditionally relied upon conventional surveying methods and aerophoto interpretation techniques. More recently, the video monitoring system are commonly used for the analysis of the shoreline changes, as it enables scientists and engineers to do the longer-period and low coast observation.
This study used the video monitoring system to identify the morphological changes of Doyodeung, Nakdong river estuary. This study presents the development and construction of video monitoring system to assist the study of coastal and shoreline dynamics and evolution. Video monitoring system carried out to investigate the shoreline variation of Doyodeung using video image processing. The study discussed the quantitative changes of shoreline of Doyodeung with the measurements of waves and river inflows to investigate its morphological mechanism. Finally, we would be able to identify temporal changes in the width of shoreline variation of Doyodeung.
The main results from the study are summarized as following.
1) Monthly shoreline variation rate is 1m/month in the offshore direction during the study period.
2) Seasonally shoreline variation is different each season in doyodeung. Increasing shoreline growth phases are periods of summer and autumn. On the other hand decreasing shoreline growth phases are periods of spring and winter.
3) Doyodeung sand spit variation rate is 15m/yr in the offshore direction for 2 years(2007∼2009).
