우리나라 항공화물운송산업의 발전방안

Abstract

International trade environments are rapidly changing and continuously growing and the interdependence of national systems are getting higher at an alarming rate. Such a global trend has expanded international distribution environments and the importance of global distribution is emerging. While most of trade cargos were dependent on ships, the rate of air-cargo has continuously been on the rise in recent years. But, in the field of the air transport of Korea, cargo transport has attracted smaller attentions and interests compared with passenger transport, so if Korea is to serve as a distribution hub in northeastern Asia, it should provide effective services for multinational distribution companies or domestic ones. As the air-cargo transport industry in Korea has been increasingly seen as an essential area, which could play a cargo-changing center, as a result of a surge in high added-value products export, researches are needed in order to enhance its competitiveness on how to eliminate restriction factors and how to develop it. This thesis has taken a close look at the environmental changes in the current air-cargo transport industry and analyzed the situations of its cargo transport achievements, information-oriented systems, and the states of each industry according to each area, through which this thesis has drawn problems, and it is designed to provide how to advance the air-cargo transport industry.
