자연에너지를 활용한 지하역사 승강장 열환경 개선 방안에 관한 연구
- Abstract
- Nowadays populations have tendancy to live in major cities and its restricted land plot is going to utilize forcedly various underground facilities, such as shopping mall, parking lot, and transportation. Underground railway, also known as subway, has obtained reputations to its regularity, quick move, and safety over other transportations. It was a reason that was first built in Seoul in August 1974, afterward Busan had installed its first subway line in 1985. Busan’s subway transportation have ran three subway lines since first start running in 1985. However it is not satisfied yet to provide increasing number of passengers with good service by now. The growing number of passengers in subway can be devoted to dissipate the congestion on the ground. On the other hand, it can cause undesirable issues mainly related to underground HVAC systems. It is because initial subway facilities for air conditioning were designed with and to minimal HVAC system capacity since underground climate was kept naturally cool during the summer and warm during the winter, thus it allowed HVAC system to achieve and maintain comfort area easily. However, heat gain from global warming and urban heat island, as well as high calorific values radiated from increased number of passengers, trains, and facility equipments in subway excesses the limitation of ground heat capacity of absorption eventually, as time goes, it will yield to thermally uncomfortable environment than ever before. Busan subway is supposed to encounter with these annoying issues. At first time the subway started to serve for citizens, it had only a function for transportation. However, having higher transit passengers’ self-awareness for amenity and safety and also having been developed in living style, extra function for transportation and easy environment as well in the subway continue to be increased as a demand of passenger. Recently, the demands are no longer simply energy efficiency, traffic congestion annulment, and environmental reformation, but pacifying environments and facilities. Heat energy created from increasing number of trains, long routes, and amenity equipments have internally polluted underground environment with hot temperature and high humidity. In addition air pollution from motorized vehicles and industrial developments above ground, which has been induced by subway’s push and pull, take on harmful affect into stations, and as a result, quality of air staying inside stations have already reached to unsafe level. Highly developed and advanced HVAC systems are the key factors to obliterate such air pollution. Subway HVAC systems can be separated with each into two simple systems; One is for platform, the other for main line. For the purpose of providing occupants in subways with comfortable environment, two kinds of system must be carefully examined and analyzed respectively, to understand accurately the relation between heat gain and air pollution. Busan’s subway transportation established a key role in the society since it started first running 20 years ago, deterioration of ventilation system as well as insufficient air conditioning system in existing stations and platforms a major revitalization. In spite of a successful renovation, might be needed to compensate occupants are suffering from hot and humid environment while staying in underground. Hence, it is a reason that this study should be conducted in the base of analysis of issues related to HVAC system installed in subway, along with preliminary evidence of research in using natural underground water to reduce the heat gain. At last the final destination of this thesis is to give HVAC system designer fundamental informations which can help for pursuing the optimum design and profitable system in the HVAC system to be setup in subway.
