- Abstract
- In this study, investigate internal waterlevel variation characteristics of permeable breakwater by irregular wave. Internal waterlevel is the most important about the stability of permeable breakwater.
To get the aims the following research steps are carried out, the numerical simulation is perfume the CADMAS-SURF. To make the irregular wave, superposition of different regular wave. And the numerical results are verify the hydraulic model experiments data from adopted by Jeon(2000)
From the research works, the following results are conductively carried out.
1) Internal waterlevel was increased with increasing run-length, and the internal waterlevel was tend to converged to a constant value.
2) The results of investigated about the relation of and , in the case of , was increased with increasing . The other case of , was deceased with increasing with drag coefficient is 1.4.
3) Irregular wave compared with regular wave, the internal waterlevel was lager increased and tend to converged to a constant value.
These results emphasize that when the investigation internal waterlevel must be considered the effect of wave grouping characteristics. Henceforward, for the apply the real random sea, we must consider diversity of external force conditions and structure characteristics
