Synthesis of polyglycerol and polyglycerol fatty acid ester by microwave
Abstract
In this research, I tried to develop an effective composite synthesis of polyglycerol fatty acid ester to use antifogging agent which is added in an excellent performing agricultural and groceries film as a production technology.
This is what I am going to do, for first, compose polyglycerol by polycondensing a glycerol, and then composing polyglycerol fatty acid ester by making ester reaction with specific fatty acid such as oleic acid, stearic acid, palmitic acid and etc, but this way of the process makes it harder to control to create many kinds of polyglycerol manually in the stage of glycerol’s polycondensing reaction. It means that it can not be examined as a good process of work to get pure oligomer formed polyglycerol.
So, in the research, I tried to develop a technology to compose high purity oligomer polyglycerol (n=2,3,4), and researched to find a way how to compose obtained high purity oligomer polyglycerol (n=2,3,4) with polyglycerol fatty acid ester after making ester reaction with fatty acid.
