해양 준설토를 이용한 염생식물 메조코즘(Mesocosm)의 서식 안정성 평가에 관한 연구
- Abstract
- The saltmarsh is one of the ecological environmental zones in coastal sea. But it was gradually decreased due to large scale of coastal development projects, reclamation and so on. Hence, the development of artificial tidal flat and salt marsh has been emphasized in coastal sea as mitigation concept and studies on related this background has performed. In addition, dredged soil occurred by coastal development carried coastal pollution. So recycle technique of dredged soil is very needed to reduce such contamination. It is important to asset the salt marsh functions when we restore the saltmarsh.
The purpose of this study is a study on functional assessment in Mesocosm of saltmarsh by using dredged soil.
We designed the mesocosm system which is replicate the saltmarsh. It has 3 of sea water tanks and mesocosm tanks. Mesocosm Tank A include 100% of saltmarsh soil with planted Salicornia herbacea. Mesocosm tank B include 100% of dredged soil without any vegetation, Mesocosm Tank C is include 100% of dredged soil with planted Salicornia herbacea And then we analyzed physical characteristic of soil which is used in Mesocosm Tank and analyzed the physico-chemical characteristics of organic mater and nutritive salts in each Mesocosm Tank.. we also analyzed physical characteristic of sea water which is outflow the Mesocosm Tank and analyzed the physico-chemical characteristics of organic mater and nutritive salts and we analyzed the rate of growing of shooting height.
The results of A asessment of purification ability of bottom material of each Tank is decreasing in generally(COD, T-P, T-N) and assessment of purification ability of water quality of Sea water temperature shows rapidly increasing or decreasing and salinity shows more higher than initial salinity. COD concentration is decresing of 8% at Mesocosm Tank A, but another thank's COD concentration is higher than initial concentration. T-P concentrating decreasing about 50%, 48%, 57% in each Mesocosm Tank but T-N increasing with range of 2 ~ 7 %. Finally the results of rate of growing of Salicornia herbacea shows low rate of growing. Above these results we calculated HSI(Habitat Stability Index).
