고등학교 수학과 서술형 평가 문항 개발

Abstract

수학과에서는 고등사고능력과 문제해결능력을 기르기 위해 많은 변화를 시도하고 있는데 그런 변화와 더불어 평가 방법도 바뀌어야 한다고 말하고 있다. 기존의 지필평가는 다양한 능력을 평가하고자 하는 현 교육과정상의 평가 방법으로는 적합하지 못하다. 이를 위한 대안으로 현장에서 서술형 평가의 도입 및 활성화 방안이 추진되고 있다. 고등사고능력을 평가하기 위한 방법으로 지필평가가 갖는 한계점을 보완하고자 지필평가와 함께 실시되고 있는 서술형 평가에 대해 살펴보고, 여러 학교에서 실시하고 있는 서술형 평가의 방법 및 형태에 대하여 조사하고 기존의 평가 방식이었던 지필평가와 서술형 평가를 비교, 분석하고자 한다. 더불어 「고등학교 수학」의 함수 영역을 중심으로 문항을 개발 및 채점기준을 마련하여 학교 현장에서 적용할 때 겪는 어려움을 예상하여 보고, 그 어려움을 해결하는데 도움이 되고자 한다.

Various attempts have been made to develop learner's thinking as well as problem-solving abilities in mathematics. This necessitates the changes in assessment. The traditional paper test is not considered to be appropriate for the assessment in the current curriculum, which aims to evaluate learners' abilities in different areas. As an alternative, descriptive assessment has been introduced and promoted in schools. This study aims to overview the descriptive assessment which was intended to complement the paper test, to investigate methods and forms of the descriptive assessment being used in schools, and to compare and contrast the paper test and the descriptive assessment. Moreover, this study attempts to develop test items and criteria that can be used in the descriptive assessment in schools.
