메타인지적 사고 활용이 문제해결에 미치는 영향

Abstract

I established the research questions as follows to find out the Influence of met-acognitive thinking application to problem solving: first, how does the metaco-gnitive thinking application affect the process of math problem solving? Second, does metacognitive thinking application make a difference in academic achievement depending on learners' levels? I conducted this research on the four subjects in 5th grade in S elementary s-chool in Busan, offering the meta-cognitive thinking application questions that I have developed. The results which I have drawn through problem solving process using the m-etacognitive thinking application are as follows. As they applied the method to the questions more and more, they showed the abilities to understand the questions, to predict and to assess and to set up their strategies and to monitor the problem-solving process. They also showed t-he improvement of their problem-solving abilities as they activated the metac-ognition. First, they showed some changes in thinking behavior during the math questio-n solving process through metacognitive thinking application. Second, there is a difference between high level students and intermediate or l-ow level students in meta-cognitive thinking application in some degree.
