A study on welding strength of pipe extru-welding using aluminum wire
Abstract
This paper is to study the welding Strength of pipe extru-welding using aluminum wire in high temperature conditions basing on the mechanism of extrusion.
Typically the pipe processing method have been used Drawing, extruding, rolling in processing methods. Pipes which are created in this way have been used many industries and plumbing materials.
Generally The welding of aluminum is difficult though the oxide film can protect aluminum material from being eroded in the air, it increases the strength and the melting point of the aluminum material, which makes it difficult to weld in traditional welding method. And in addition, it takes a short time for the aluminum to react with oxygen.
Existing pipe extrusion processing method is not consecutive in the supply of materials and excessive extrusion equipment is needed wide space in extrusion processing.
To complement the strengths and weaknesses new pipe processing method has studied and it is made by aluminum wire.
The hollow pipe made from aluminum wire to processing have to simultaneously induce plastic strain and welding. The pipe extru-welding process was studied by simulation and experiments for improve the welding strength.
It was known by simulation and experiments that aluminum wire welded in exrtr-welding Process.
