의 양성평등적 성격과 효율적인 지도방안

Abstract

사회가 급변함에 따라 전통 사회에서 존중받던 가부장적 사회질서를 벗어나 여성과 남성 모두 자신의 능력과 개성을 존중받는 시대가 왔지만, 현실에서는 이러한 인식이 아직 부족하다. 오랜 시간동안 존재해 온 성 고정관념에 익숙한 사람들의 의식이 변하지 않고 있기 때문이다. 이러한 의식들이 재생산되지 않기 위해서는, 과 같이 성역할 고정관념에 따른 양성평등의 문제를 드러내고 있는 작품으로 양성평등교육을 하는 것이 필요하다. 은 조선후기 대표적인 여성영웅소설로, 성역할 규범을 거부하는 여성과 가부장적 가치를 고수하고자 하는 남성 간의 갈등을 여실히 드러내고 있다. 이러한 갈등이 바탕이 되어 작품의 양성평등적 성격이 드러나는데 이를 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 남성인물은 나약하게 그려지고, 여성인물은 강인하게 그려지고 있어 기존의 남녀특성과는 다른 모습을 보이고 있다. 둘째, 여성인물이 주체적으로 현실을 인식하여 불합리한 결혼생활을 거부하고, 남편과 정정당당히 대결하여 승리하는 모습을 보여줌으로써 고정화된 성역할을 거부하는 모습을 보인다. 셋째, 여성인물이 결혼 후에도 천자로부터 능력을 인정받아 공적 영역에서 활약하는 모습을 보인다. 이처럼 은 고정화된 성역할이 미치는 영향과, 양성평등의 필요성에 대한 문제를 제시해주고 있어 양성평등교육적으로 의미있는 작품이라는 것을 알 수 있었다. 하지만 의 교수-학습 시간은 1차시로 부족하게 설정되어 있어, 학습목표를 달성하기 힘들다는 한계가 지적되었다. 따라서 본고에서는 과정 중심 읽기를 활용하여 2차시로 지도방안을 마련해 보았다. 1차시에는 작품 읽기와 이해를 초점으로 한 ‘읽기 전’, ‘읽는 중’ 활동을, 2차시에는 ‘읽은 후’ 활동으로 웹 토의 학습을 활용하여 지도방안을 마련하였다. 앞으로 뿐만 아니라 양성평등적 성격을 지니고 있는 다양한 문학작품을 발굴하여 미래를 이끌어나갈 주역인 아이들이 창의성과 개성을 발휘할 수 있도록 지속적으로 양성평등교육을 해 나가야 할 것이다.

It is the time when the woman and man are respected with their ability and individuality escaping from the patriarchal social order which was respected from the traditional society, but this recognition is still insufficient in actuality. That's because people's consciousness which is familiar with sex fixed idea since old time doesn't change. In order for this recognition not to be reproduced, the gender equality education is necessary by the works like which shows the gender equality problem by the fixed idea of gender characteristic role. is a representative heroin novel in the latter part of Joseon Dynasty period, and it shows a discord between the woman who refuses a gender role norm and the man who keeps to hold patriarchy value. The characteristic toward gender equality was showed based on this discord in this work, and comprehension of this is as follows. First, the male characters are described weakly but the female characters are described strongly so it is different from existing male & female features. Second, the female characters recognize the actuality subjectively and refuse the irrational marriage life and they show a fair success against husband as the features which refuses the fixed gender role. Third, the female characters show the activity in the public fields by recognized ability. Thus, presents problem about an effect of fixed gender role and necessity of gender equality, so it can be seen that is gender equality educational meaningful work. But the teaching-learning time of is set insufficiently with first time, so it was limitation that is hard to accomplish learning goal. Therefore, this study prepared the teaching plan applying reading focused on the process with second time. The teaching program was prepared by web discussion learning with ‘before reading', ‘while reading' activity based on reading and comprehending works at the first time, and ‘after reading' activity in second time. The continuous gender equality education will be required for the children who is leading actor in the future to show their originality and individuality by excavating the various literary works with characteristic toward gender equality in addition to .
