수출입화주와 제3자 물류기업 간 파트너십 성과에 관한 연구

- Abstract
- Currently, most of companies actively promote the outsourcing on logistics for the reinforcement of company competitive ability and 3PL providers offer customers service improvements such as cost reduction of logistics and logistics improvement by providing shippers with specialized logistics services.
Logistics partnership with a long-term cooperation is commonly used between shippers and logistics companies, and it provides shippers with higher competition. So this partnership will be promoted more than before.
In this study, I observed what factors shippers strategically require for 3PL providers to establish partnership relation through empirical study of the improvement of logistics partnership targeting major import and export shippers in Busan and Kyungnam province.
I reviewed the general theory of recent 3PL logistics and examined the status of domestic 3PL logistics. For this study I also set up a study model for partnership formation, reinforcement and logistics performances with the precedent research and field study, and generated practical partnership factors and the related improvements by empirical analysis targeting logistics staff of import and export shippers in Busan and Kyungnam province.
The factors formating logistics partnership consist of mutual understanding, communication, mutual interests and share of information network. The formated partnership may be a factor which enables partnership to be more developed by reinforcement factors such as mutual trust and relational commitment in the long term.
This formation and reinforcement partnership generates practical logistics improvement such as cost reduction of logistics and customers service improvements, and it finally secures company's competitive advantage as a result of that.
In this survey, I conducted the quantitative analysis and distributed 300 questionnaires including types of business, business status and business scale and retrieved 197 of them and used this data for analysis. In analysis methods, I performed frequency analysis, cronbach alpha's reliability analysis and exploratory factor analysis, t-test and analysis of variance, and multiple regression and structural equation model(path analysis) were used for inspecting of a study model and a hypothesis.
According to empirical analysis, I knew that formation factors of partnership significantly affected reinforcement factors of partnership except for factors of mutual understanding. Furthermore, I knew that Mutual Trust did not show any significant effect on logistics performances according to structural equation model(path analysis), while reinforcement factors of partnership significantly influenced all of logistics improvement according to multiple regression.
In conclusion, I suggested that formation and reinforcement factors of partnership made practical logistics improvement of the company considerably, and shippers finally achieved competitive advantage of the company by inspecting of a study model and hypothesis. This result may enable 3PL providers to fully meet shippers' needs for strategy formulation and business activity for the establishment of more intimate partnership between companies and shippers. I concluded that these factors may contribute to better development of logistics industry. Therefore, I dare to say that more developed model of logistics partnership will be established if bilateral needs are closely examined adding research on better partnership of 3PL providers.
