Abstract

In this thesis, we research the problems with mathematics education in high school and college, and utilize student surveys, scholastic level assessments and class evaluation in order to prepare effective teaching-learning methods to teach basic mathematics for students of business administration. The researcher cannot give lectures as a graduate school student, but we have been able to select a subject class and participate in the lecture as an assistant in Mathematics Cafe and guiding the students of business administration of basic theories for a semester. Although it is difficult to generalize the finding to all of the business administration students due to differences in academic level and educational environment, much work has been put in to present effective teaching-learning method of basic mathematics for students of business administration.
