체질안료의 종류와 함량에 따른 Epoxy도막의 방식성능 연구

- Abstract
- Recently the amount of using alkali metal soap for anticorrosive pigments has been increased since focused on environmental problems. Typically it is Barium metaborate monohydrate(BaB₂O₄·H₂O). In this study, BPA-based epoxy resin for matrix and Barium metaborate monohydrate for anticorrosive pigment combined with various rates of Busan 11-M1, Silica, Talc, Baryte for green extender were used. The film thickness was controlled as 100~120μm. In order to find the optical pigment rate, accelerated test in artificial seawater at 40℃ was carried out and then Electrochemical Impedance spectroscopy, SEM, Adhesion test were conducted to evaluate film properties.
According to the EIS results, firstly, it was shown that the ratio of 70:30 (anticorrosive pigment : Silica respectively), 57:43(anticorrosive pigment : Talc respectively) and 70:30(anticorrosive pigment : Baryte respectively) had the best barrier property and the lowest water uptake into the film. In the second place, the particle shape of extender affected the barrier property of the coating film. Talc was the best and Baryte was better then Silica was the worst. furthermore it will be adequate anticorrosive performance and economical when anticorrosive pigments and extenders are combined properly.
