교내축구클럽리그 참여가 남자중학생의 학교생활만족도에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구는 교내축구클럽리그가 남자 중학생의 학교생활만족도에 미치는 영향을 규명하는데 그 목적이 있으며, 본 연구를 통해 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 남자 중학생의 교내축구클럽리그 참여 여부에 따른 학교생활만족도는 참여 집단의 학교생활만족도가 학교생활전반, 교우관계, 교사관계, 수업관계, 학교행사관계 모든 면에서 비 참여집단에 비해 높은 것으로 나타났고 통계적으로도 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 이것은 축구를 좋아하는 학생들이 방과 후 여가시간에 몰입의 요소들을 고루 갖추고 공식화된 교내축구클럽리그 경기에 참여하여 얻은 만족감이 학교생활의 4가지 영역 모두에 영향을 미친 결과라 생각된다. 둘째, 교내축구클럽리그에 참여한 학생들 중에서 경기 참여 빈도에 따른 학교생활만족도는 경기 참여 빈도가 높을수록 학교생활전반, 교우관계, 교사관계, 수업관계에서 높은 것으로 나타났다. 다만, 학교행사 관계에 대한 만족도는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이것은 팀 인원과 경기를 뛸 수 있는 선수 엔트리 수의 차이에 의해 나타날 수 있는 결과이다. 경기에 참여하는 횟수가 많을수록 방과 후 여가시간을 교내에서 즐겁게 보낼 수 있는 가능성이 많아지고, 이것이 학교생활만족도에도 영향을 미쳤을 것이라 생각된다. 셋째, 교내축구클럽리그에 참여한 학생들 중에서 축구 실력 수준에 따른 학교생활만족도는 축구 실력 수준이 높은 학생들이 낮은 학생들에 비해 학교생활전반, 교우관계, 교사관계, 수업관계, 학교행사관계 모든 면에서 높은 것으로 나타났고, 통계적으로도 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 이것은 축구 실력 수준이 높은 학생이 낮은 학생에 비해 경기 참여 빈도가 높아져 방과 후 시간을 즐겁게 보낼 수 있는 가능성이 높을 뿐 만 아니라, 자신의 실력을 드러낼 수 있는 기회를 많이 가질 수 있고, 긍정적 피드백에 의한 내적보상을 받을 기회가 더 많음을 의미한다.

The purpose of this study was to examine how school soccer league influenced the school life satisfaction of middle school students in an attempt to help improve their school life and facilitate the universalization of a school soccer league. The subjects of this study were 103 students participating in school soccer league at a boy's middle school in Busan and 148 non-participants at the same school as a comparison group, on whom a survey was conducted. The questionnaire used in this study was prepared under the guidance of this researcher's main professor by modifying questionnaires utilized by earlier studies(Kim Jeong Hun, 2006; Lee Je Heon, 2006; Song Jeong Yong, 2004; Song Hui Suk, 2002). The collected data were analyzed with SPSS WIN program. A T-test was employed to determine the influence of a school soccer league on the satisfaction of school life. The T-test was implemented to verify the differences of school life satisfaction between participants and non-participants. ANOVA was also implemented to verify the influence of the participation frequency on their satisfaction with school life. Moreover, the T-test was implemented to verify the influence of soccer ability level on the school life satisfaction. The findings of the study were as follows: 1. The students who participated in the school soccer league program expressed better satisfaction with school life than the others who didn't, and the gap between the two was statistically significant. 2. Of the students who participated in the school soccer league program, the students who showed higher participation frequency expressed better satisfaction with school life than the other who didn't, and the gap between the two was statistically significant. 3. Of the student who participated in the school soccer league program, the students with higher level soccer skills expressed better satisfaction with school life than the lower level student of the soccer group, and the gap between the two was statistically significant.
