朱自淸의 敍事 散文 硏究

Abstract

This study intended to help understanding of work, aiming at considering as laying stress on the epic prose literature describing characters and incident amid prose of Zhu, Zi-Qing. The outcome can be summarized like as follows. In regard to the motive with which Zhu, Zi-Qing created epic prose, it examined the background of his life and creation inbrief, and the style of epic prose has been classified into the opening, type of incident and character, and the end. The content of Zhu, Zi-Qing’s epic prose was divided into time · space · entangled incident. Major time depicted in the work was usuallynight, the middle of the night, and moonlight night. Finally it reached the following conclusion. First, in consideration of then background of life, the night depicted in the work was acting as a hopeful element waiting for the next morning. Second, in then social background that was dark and depressed, it seemed not to be easily adapted to the reality of day. Third, a moonlight night became time to purify one’s self. The space depicted in Zhu, Zi-Qing’s work was the one of street to leave, the one to visit and experience personally, and the one of settlement to live in peace after finishing experience. The content of Zhu, Zi-Qing’s epic prose was classified into one depicting compassion and one entangled with criticism. Zhu, Zi-Qing dissolved the pity toward the lower middle class living hard in his work, and got to be a necessary mirror and support required for living. He felt pity for then reality when people had to get into miserable way in order to prolong their life. He was a writer who expanded the ground of the times with the wider view, not just only betraying his dissatisfaction and criticizing.
