ICT 활용교육을 통한 수업의 효율성 제고 방안에 대한 연구

Abstract

이 연구의 목적은 ICT활용 교육을 올바르게 이해하고 실천할 수 있는 방법을 습득하고 정보화 사회에 알맞은 교수학습 과정안을 제시하여 전통식 강의수업과 비교하여 ICT 활용 수업이 학습자의 흥미도와 이해도, 실력향상에 어떠한 영향을 주는지를 살펴보고, 수업의 효율성을 높일 수 있는 교수·학습 방법을 모색하여 효율적인 현장 교육활동이 이뤄지는 계기가 마련해보고자 한다. 수업을 진행하고 학생들의 반응을 분석할 결과를 요약해보면 첫째, 학생들은 ICT 활용수업에 대하여 많은 관심과 기대감을 나타내고 있다. 높은 기대감은 집중력 향상에 기여할 수 있으며 그에 따라 만족스러운 수업을 유도할 수 있다. 또한 자기 주도적 수업을 통해 학생들에게 정보수집 능력 및 통합적 사고력을 높일 수 있다. 둘째, 학습자는 자기 주도적으로 주어진 문제를 해결하면서 , 학습에 대한 이해도가 높아지고 실력이 향상되었다. 그러나 사회과의 ICT활용 수업을 좀 더 효과적으로 적용하기 위해 다음과 같은 제언을 하고자 한다. 첫째, ICT활용 수업이 사회과 학습이 유용한 교수·학습 방법으로 운영되기 위해서는 다양한 ICT활용 수업 모형을 개발, 설계하고 이를 교육현장에서 활용하기 위해 교사의 적극적인 노력과 정보통신기술 능력을 신장시켜 나가야 한다. 컴퓨터 세대의 학생들에게 흥미도를 유발할 수 있는 지도안이 만들어질 수 있도록 웹 공간을 만들어 동료교사들의 지속적인 교류가 이루워 져 새로운 아이디어를 창출하여 부가시키는 작업이 유도되어져야 할 것이다. 둘째, 효율성 신장을 위한 ICT 수업의 효과를 검증하기 위한 검사도구의 개발이 지속적으로 이루어져야 할 것이다. 셋째, ICT활용 학습이 사회과에 효과를 거두기 위해서는 앞으로 학습자의 다양한 요구와 교과과정에 알맞은 ICT 활용 수업 설계가 이루어져야 하며, 기존의 다양한 학습 자료를 적용할 수 있는 여러 방안들이 강구 되어야 할 것이다.

The objective to this research is to understand properly about lessons using ICT, learn the methods to practice and suggest a course outline which is suitable for the information society for teaching and learning. Through these, it intends to look at the effects of lessons using ICT on interest, understanding and ability improvement of learners by comparing it with the traditional lecturing classes so that it can prepare an opportunity to realize effective field education activities by finding teaching and learning methods which can increase effectiveness of lessons. The summary result of an analysis on student responses during carrying out lessons is as follows. First, children showed a high interest and expectation on lessons using ICT. High expectation can contribute to improving concentration and accordingly induce a satisfactory class. In addition, through a self-initiative lesson students can enhance data collecting ability and integrated thinking ability. Secondly, whilst the learners solved the given problems with their own initiative they were able to increase their understandings of lessons and learning abilities. However, for a more effective application of ICT using lessons of the social department, this research would like to make the following proposals. Firstly, for ICT using lessons to be operated as an useful teaching and learning method of the social department, various models of ICT using lesson need to be developed and designed. In addition, in order to use these models at the education site, active effort of teachers and information communication technological ability need to be improved. A web space which fellow teachers can continuously exchange opinions need to be established in order to create new ideas and add value to them so that a teaching outline which can induce interests from students of the computer generation can be produced. Secondly, a measuring tool which can examine the effects of ICT lessons need to be continuously developed in order to increase effectivity. Thirdly, for ICT using lessons to be effective for social departments, ICT using lessons which are tailored to various needs of learners and the curriculum need to be designed. In addition, various methods which can apply the various existing learning materials will have to be devised.
