중학교 1학년 과학에서 환경영역 STS프로그램 개발 및 실천방안에 관한 연구

Abstract

현재의 중학교 환경교육은 선택형 독립교과로서 환경 교과가 있으나 이를 선택한 학교수가 적어 중학교 환경교육의 효율적 운영을 위해 학교 환경 교육의 효과에 미치는 요인을 분석하고 환경 관련교과인 과학교과에서 실시할 수 있는 실천적인 방안에 대해 연구가 필요하다. 과학교과는 내용, 성격, 학습지도면에서 환경교과와 많은 연계성을 가지고 있으며 과학교과의 목표 및 탄력적인 교수 학습방법이 환경 교과와 유사점이 많아서 과학시간에 환경교육을 더불어 실시함이 보다 바람직하며 효과적인 방향이 될 것으로 생각된다. 그래서 중학교 1학년 교과과정 중 지구과학관련 단원인 1.지구의 구조 와 3. 지각의 물질을 분석하고 환경관련 주제인 대기오염 및 토양오염에 관한 내용을 재구성하여 STS 수업방법으로 개발 하여 개발한 수업모형을 적용한 반과 전통적인 과학수업 실시반의 환경관련지식 및 태도함양에 대한 효과를 비교 분석하여 보았다 결과로 환경지식영역 및 환경태도실천 영역에서 개발한 STS 프로그램으로 수업이 실시된 실험반이 통제반보다 평균점수의 향상이 더 높아 인간의 실천 학문이며 간학문적인 성격이 강한 환경교육에서도 Walker(1992)의 학교 과학교육에서의 STS란 연구에서 지식과 태도, 탐구능력이 향상되었다는 결과보고와 마찬가지로 STS적으로 접근한 환경교육이 효과적임을 알 수 있다. 또한 실험반의 영역별 환경태도 점수의 변화에서 개인영역에서 점수의 증가뿐 아니라 가족 영역에서도 점수의 증가가 통제반의 점수향상보다 높게 나타나서 학교에서 수업한 내용이 개인적으로 내면화되면 그 가족의 환경 실천태도까지 향상시킬 수 있다는 결과로 해석되어 매우 고무적인 희망을 가질수 있고 과학수업에서도 교사의 세심한 수업개선에 대한 노력이 있다면 더불어 환경의식까지 고취시킬 수 있다는 희망을 볼 수 있었다.

A present time's middle school environment education has an environment course of study as a selection independence course of study. However there is an environment subject but the school possibility of selecting few the efficient operation of middle school environment education. so We analyze about the effect of a school environment education factor and it will analyze against the practice plan from the cognitive science subject an environment relation subject it will be able to execute the research is necessary. If scientific course contents, character and the studying map from with environment subject it has a many connection characteristic and the aim and elasticity professor studying method of scientific discipline environment subject and similarity are many and they join in it executes they see and to be desirable with the fact that the effective direction will become they are thought an environment education at scientific hour. It is like that, with earth science relation in junior high school 1 grade curriculum cause 1. globe structure 3. It analyzes the material of perception and it re-composes the contents regarding the air pollution which is an environment relation subject and a ground pollution it develops with STS study method. It applied the study model which it develops anti- with traditional cognitive science study execution comparison it tried to analyze the effect against an anti- environment relation knowledge and an attitude cultivation. The improvement of the test moving control half step multi even score where the study is executed with the STS program which with result it develops from environment knowledge territory and environment attitude practice territory to be higher is practice study of the human being and knowledge and attitude, nine abilities which burn improved is a possibility the environment education which approaches with a result report and a sameness STS knowing an effective suitability from the research which a STS from school scientific education of the Walker (1992) even from the environment education where the for study character is strong. Also test from change of anti- territory star environment attitude score only increase of score knows from personal distance even from family territory the increase of score control more highly anti- score improvement than to appear and the contents which when studies from the school puts out becomes anger personally and until environment practice attitude of that family it will be able to improve a possibility of having a rubber hope and with result to be interpreted very there is and if there was effort with the study improvement which the teacher is prudent even from scientific study it joined in and until environment ceremony it will be able to inspire the possibility of seeing a hope it was.
