- Abstract
- The thermoelectric dehumidifier consists of a thermoelectric heat pump which is solid state pump without any moving parts, fluids or gases, In this study, the purpose is to find out optimum design conditions to maximize dehumidification performance. The performance of a thermoelectric dehumidifier is estimated using Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD) and experimental method. The objectives of CFD analysis is to examine the effect of different supply current and relative humidity on the thermoelectric dehumidifier. It is found that maximum temperature difference between hot and cold surface on the thermoelectric module and relative humidity and temperature of outlet. The results comparison of the present experiment with reference result show that this product is better other then and has high performance and efficiency.
