TSP 탐사에 의한 암반물성과 RMR의 상관성 해석에 관한 연구
- Abstract
- The number of design and construction of long ranged tunnel has been tend to increase with growth of domestic economy, and it is necessary to acquire the reliable information of subsurface conditions related to proposed tunnel alignment to assure the longevity of the infrastructure and public safety. There are several uncertainties encountered during the tunnel construction. One of the most important aspects in tunnel construction is to predict the ground condition and stability of rock mass in advance of excavation. Recently, the TSP method that is using the seismic reflective waves in tunnel is frequently applied in the fields. The recent case studies of the TSP method have been turned out to be successful by predicting the major discontinuities located advance of tunnel excavation and geologic conditions. A comprehensive study is performed to investigate the relationship between the strength parameters that can be estimated by the TSP method and the rock mass ratings using the data from 16 tunnel construction sites. The results obtained from statistical analysis show that the strength parameters such as Lame's constant, bulk modulus, P-wave velocity, density, shear modulus and elastic modulus was found to provide the strong correlation(R2>0.9) with RMR. The conducted research in this thesis have shown that strength parameter estimated by TSP have capability to quantify rock mass around tunnel efficiently. However, it is important to note that the suggested method is based on limited field data of TSP. It is necessary to perform similar investigations using the more TSP data (especially on various geological conditions) to explore weather similar correlation can be derived for different geologic conditions.
