대학생의 목표내용이 심리적 욕구, 동기와 행동 참여에 미치는 영향

Abstract
The goal content is important for predicting motivation, behavior, and engagement. Based on the goal content theory within theory of self-determination this study examined how the goal content (i.e., intrinsic goal content vs. extrinsic goal content) affect college students' basic psychological needs, self-determinated motivation, and engagement. To this way, a survey was conducted on 1231 college students attending located in Zhengzhou, Henan Province of China.
In this study, participants completed the pack of questionnaires to goal content, psychological needs satisfaction, psychological needs frustration, motivation and learning engagement. The collected data were analyzed in the order of technical statistics, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation and path analysis. The results of the analysis showed that the reliability and validity of the scale were appropriate in the confirmatory factor analysis, and the correlation between the variables was also found to be consistent with the theoretical basis.
The data analysis found that the intrinsic goal content significantly affects students' psychological needs satisfaction, autonomous motivation and learning engagement. On the other hand, the extrinsic goal content significantly affects students' psychological needs frustration, controlling motivation and learning engagement.
These results suggest that the intrinsic goal content has a great influence on college students' basic psychological needs, motivation, and learning engagement. This means that the intrinsic goal content can lead to positive behavior for students participating in sport setting. The results of this study suggest the importance of goal content to promote emotional, psychological needs, motivation and intrinsic behavior of students in the future.
