Maxwell을 利用한 永久磁石 直流電動機의 特性 解析

Abstract
Recently, DC Motor is widely used in the field of the variable speed drive and variable torque control because of easy speed control and the wide range of speed control. But it have disadvantages that a routine repair is needed because of commutator and brush and its application does not appropriate to in the field of high speed application. Permanent magnet DC motor has a higher efficiency than DC motor because it does not has a field winding. But when considering permanent magnet DC motor the demagnetization should be careful.
In this paper, characteristic analysis of permanent magnet DC motor by using the commercial software Rmxpert and Maxwell was described. It was shown that the amplitude of torque ripple could be minimized by variation the width of stator and permanent magnet.
