Winding Function 理論을 利用한 Flux Switching 電動機의 特性 解析
- Abstract
- Flux Switching Motor(FSM) has advantages: it consists of simple control circuits; it has simple structure; its efficiency is high; it costs less to produce due to mass production. But it also has disadvantage such as noise. With the development of power electronics technology, Flux Switching Motor draws researchers' attention. Although the Finite Element Analysis(FEA) has been used for a long time in the field of motor analysis and design, it takes longer to analyze than other methods. On the other hand, Magnetic Equivalent Circuit Method, one of the other motor analysis methods, is not capable of considering a torque harmonic in the air gap. But Winding Function Theory(WFT) considers a torque harmonic in the air gap and can be analyzed in a very short time.
In this paper, characteristic analysis of FSM by using WFT was described. First of all, the characteristics of pre-designed FSM was analyzed by WFT. The revised FSM was proposed to minimize the torque ripple. The simulation results were compared with those from FEA. From the comparison it was shown that the analysis method of two FSMs by WFT was validated. Second, the optimum design method was used to design the rotor of Permanent Magnet Flux Switching Motor(PMFSM) to minimize the torque ripple. From the FEA of PMFSM it was known that the magnitude of torque ripple was reduced. The Direct Torque Control(DTC) was used to control of speed of PMFSM. Analysis of PMFSM was done by Maxwell and Simplorer using DTC algorithm implemented. As a results, the actual speed and torque values were converge to the reference values well. Lastly, FSM and driving system were manufactured. It was torque characteristic was similar with that of experiment.
From the above results, it was shown that the proposed analysis method by WFT has advantages such as short of analysis time, the rough design of electric machinery rapidly.
