For this purpose, twenty obese University women students with more 30% of body fat percentage in B city were recruited and they were divided into exercise group(n=10) and control group(n=10). Combined exercise program(aerobic exercise and weight training ) was applied aerobic exercise equivalent to (Week 1-4) 50% HRR, (Week 5-8) 60% HRR, (Week 9-12) 70% HRR and weight training equivalent to (Week 2-3) 1RM 50%, (Week 4-6) 1RM 60%, (Week 7-9) 1RM 70%, (Week 10-12) 1RM 80%, 90 minutes a day for 3 days a week in 12 weeks.
All date were analyzed with-group change was paired t-test of SPSS package 18.0 program and significant level was set to .05. The results of this study were as follows:
1. Body Composition
1) Weight was decreased significantly(p<.001) after the combined exercise, there was not significantly difference from the control group.
It was significantly different between groups after exercise(p< .05).
2) Quantity of body fat % was decreased significantly(p< .001) after the combined exercise, there was not significantly difference from the control group.
It was significantly different between groups after exercise(p< .001).
3) Waist to hip circumference ratio was decreased significantly(p< .001) after the combined exercise, there was not significantly difference from the control group.
It wasn't any significantly different between groups after exercise.
4) Quantity of lean mass was not significantly difference both group.
It wasn't any significantly different between groups after exercise.
2. Basal physical fitness
1) Muscular strength was increased significantly(p< .05) after the combined exercise, there was not significantly difference from the control group.
It was significantly different between groups after exercise(p< .001).
2) Muscular endurance was increased significantly(p< .001) after the combined exercise, there was not significantly difference from the control group.
It was significantly different between groups after exercise(p< .001).
3) Flexibility was increased significantly(p<.05) after the combined exercise, there was not significantly difference from the control group.
It was significantly different between groups after exercise(p< .05).
4) Power was increased significantly(p< .05) after the combined exercise, there was not significantly difference from the control group.
It wasn't any significantly different between groups after exercise.
5) Balance was increased significantly(p< .05) after the combined exercise, there was significantly decreased from the control group.
