A Lower Limb EMG Comparative Analysis of Squat using BOSU
Abstract
In this study, weight training method of the skilled and unskilled inner and outer muscle of the photometry, depending upon whether or not the use of assistive devices, one of the BOSU Squat action, by measuring the biceps femoris, the inner and outer gastrocnemius, tibialis anterior section of the stars mean muscle activity, not according to the use or not BOSU analysis comparing the activity of the muscles and tea, can reduce the exercise injury and safety and the object of this study to suggest an effective method squat.
Subjects in this study were selected by 30 men 18 people residing in B City, the past year was a musculoskeletal injury-free subjects. Unskilled persons have chosen to nine people with no recent experience regular weight training subjects. Expert, was selected to nine people in bodybuilding career five years or more subjects.
In this study, we selected the following metrics to measure the EMG changes in a lower limb of skilled and unskilled existence when used in accordance with the BOSU Squat action.
1. flexion, extension period of the use BOSU muscle activity during squat behavior of the expert.
2. unskilled flexion of the use BOSU Squat during operation of the extension period, muscle activity.
3. the curvature of the surface squat skilled, unskilled operation, Temple period muscular activity.
4. BOSU Squat operation skilled, unskilled, temple curvature of muscle activity period.
Squat operation by measuring the time interval according to the specific activity a lower limb use BOSU was concluded as a result of the following analysis.
1. skilled flexion, extension sections muscle activity was higher in the average of the BOSU Squat bending section near my metering, metering outside muscle, biceps femoris, medial gastrocnemius, showed a significant difference in the lateral gastrocnemius(P <.05). The average value of the BOSU Squat in the Temple period were high biceps femoris, medial gastrocnemius, showed a significant difference in the lateral gastrocnemius(P <.05).
2. unskilled flexion, extension sections muscle activity was higher in the average of the BOSU Squat bending section medial gastrocnemius showed a significant difference in the lateral gastrocnemius(P <.05). The average value of the BOSU Squat in the Temple period were high medial gastrocnemius showed a significant difference in the lateral gastrocnemius(P <.05).
3. When the squat, bend at the bend near the temple region within the metering section of the unskilled in muscle activity, medial gastrocnemius, showed a significant difference between the mean value of the lateral gastrocnemius muscle was higher(P <.05).
My metering near the unskilled in the temple region, medial gastrocnemius, showed a significant difference between the mean value of the lateral gastrocnemius muscle was higher(P <.05). The tibialis anterior showed higher mean values of skilled showed significant differences(P <.05).
4. BOSU Squat bending, no significant differences between groups were not observed in the Temple period flexion muscle activity period. No significant differences between groups were not observed in the Templeperiod.
