중국의 대한국 수산물 수출경쟁력 분석

Abstract

China surpassed Vietnam aquatic products export as the world largest exporter since 2002. With the rapid development of Chinese aquatic products export, South Korea trade relations with China became closer since 1996 and became the largest supplier of marine products of Korea. However, under the influence of world open market and free trade policies, South Korea aquatic products import market faced fierce competition among countries. In recent years, China's aquatic products in the Korean market share continued to decline. In order to further understand the Korean seafood import market, this paper aims to investigate and analyse the causes of fluctuations of Chinese aquatic products exported to South Korea. By studying the size and structure of China's marine exports to South Korea, as well as the size and structure of Korean aquatic products import, we are able to analyse current situation. By means of the CMS model from competitive factors, the product mix of factors, demand factors, we are capable to define the current fluctuation on Chinese aquatic products export. Finally, we are going to propose rational suggestions on expanding the aquatic products export from China. The results are as follow: In recent years, Korean aquatic products import from China continued to decline in terms of market share. At the same time, competitiveness of Chinese aquatic products and it's product structure has induce negative (-) effects. The reason behind is mainly due to an surging demand of aquatic products in Korea. Along with an increase in demand for aquatic products, Chinese aquatic products exports to Korea increased accordingly. In order to improve the competitiveness of Korean exports of aquatic China should improve product quality, enhance aquatic safety. While South Korea should keep an eye on marine consumption trends, introduce new products to meet the demand of Korean market.
