컨테이너 화물 운전자의 FTA인지도가 FTA성과 평가 및 향후 기대에 미치는 영향

Abstract

Unique geographical setting of Korea, which is being surrounded by water on three sides, provides an ideal setting for Korea to play critical role as a world logistic center. Since 2003, Korean government has been pushing for multiple FTAs with various countries around the world. Lately, Korea announces signing of FTAs with several large economies such as USA, EU, and China in an attempt to build a FTA network. These FTAs has triggered many researches on the effects of FTAs with different views and in various fields associated to the FTAs. However, researches so far lack in discussion on the effects of FTAs to the labor relationship in logistic firms. Using survey data of freight truck drivers in Pusan area, this study empirically evaluates the effects of FTA awareness to the FTA evaluation and analyzes the resulting impact of FTA to the forward expectation.
