A Study On Education of Sijo Owooga using parody.

The purpose of this study is to help that learners have an interest in Sijo study. This presents Sijo creation teaching methods using a parody as a way that learners establish their own lesson plans and participate actively in the learning process. Sijo creation teaching using parody is useful for learners to learn the format and structure of Sijo literature. This study shows two periods of Sijo creation lesson plan by small groups of learners, which eases the burden of Sijo creation that learners have. It is expected that collaborative small group work for Sijo creation gives a positive effect on the improvement of language skills to learners.
First, it defines the concept of parody and shows how to utilize parody in Sijo education with its nature and the characteristics. And it examines the type of parody and model of learning using the parady through the learning process. Also it suggests the process of expanding thinking skills with each step of learning phases accordingly through parody activity with Owooga by Yoon Sundo.
In chapter 2, it reviews the relation between an amendment curriculum 2011 and Sigo education, and examine the issues of Sijo education and its solutions. In chapter 3, it classifies the basic concept and characteristics of parody and tries to find its utilization for Sijo education. And it frames the process of parody by five steps based on the utilization of the characteristics of parody. In chapter 4, it suggests specific teaching methods and learning model with the parody Sijo creation process, which applies it to the real teaching and learning.
And it is discussed on the value and significance of the learning method using this parody teaching. It also suggest a collaborative creation lesson plans using a parody after verifying how the learners to accommodate Owooga and reproduce it creatively while doing Sijo creation activity.
In this study it is researched in the teaching method of collaborative creation using parody for each phase in Sijo education. It is expected that there are more studies on specific and creative Sijo education.
