폐어망 담체를 이용한 폐수처리공정 특성

Abstract
Attached growth activated sludge process used to small biological wastewater treatment. This media which is material of ceramic and plastic used by processing. This study is reducing the processing cost, aims to utilize waste fishing net to the dumped in marine. Waste fishing net is separated to weight per unit area, mesh-size, thickness.
This paper study attached characteristics according to kind of waste fishing net. The next, the most adhesion WFN used to fixed media activated sludge process as media. While increasing the organic matter were analyzed characteristic of organic matter efficiency. And WFN is applied to SBR as media, analyzed characteristic of nutrient matter efficiency.
Material of nylon is the most attached by sludge. The most effective factor which is attached sludge is thickness from factor of weight per unit area, mesh-size, thickness of waste fishing net. The nylon WFN is used fixed media activated sludge process as media. The nylon WFN and the Saran, there was no difference in organic matter removal. In COD concentration 1.3 ∼ 1.7 kg/m3d, the organic matter removal efficiency was better attached process than suspended process. But more than 2.0 kg/m3d, the organic matter removal efficiency was better suspended process than attached process. As a result of SBR using WFN, the organic matter removal efficiency was better attached process than suspended process.
