- Abstract
- If you sort certain situations and objects with a standard or condition, you can easily understand the concepts or principles. Also, through a lot of information, it needs the judgment ability with a logical thinking and analysis. In this way, Sets and Propositions are the basic concept of the modern mathematics.
At this point, this thesis was compared and analyzed to Sets and Propositions unit that is the new editions of mathematics textbooks in high school with a compositional, meaning, and reflective aspect based on the 2009 revised curriculum.
First, we compared and analyzed the compositions, characteristics of the each textbooks, and constitutions of Sets and Propositions units with a compositional aspect.
Second, we compared and analyzed the lesson objects and the introduction contents of the Sets and Propositions units of the each textbooks, and definitions of specified term in 2009 revised mathematics department curriculum with a meaning aspect.
Third, we acquired how to reflect the main contents of 2009 revised curriculum are an originality, humanity and the mathematical process that has three things are the solutions of the mathematical problems, the mathematical inferences, and the mathematical communications with a reflective aspect.
Through the comparison and analysis, this thesis provides basic data about the each textbooks following 2009 revised curriculum. So, when you consider at least Sets and Propositions unit, I hope to help you to have a good choice in the textbook when you use it in the class. Also, when you prepare with 2009 revised curriculum, considering the situation and standard of students in the class, you can practical use in a research for the professor-learning data and guidance plan.
