유아교사의 놀이중심 교육과정 실행 역량 척도 개발을 위한 기초 연구

Abstract
The study aimed to develop the play-based curriculum implementation competences scale for early childhood teacher. This study included the following processes.
Firstly, it was to construct the factors of play-based curriculum implementation competences scale for early childhood teacher. Secondly, it was to validate the play-based curriculum implementation competences scale for early childhood teacher.
For the first step it conducted the literature review and the survey with professionals in early childhood education to construct the preliminary scale with the 2 areas and the 10 categories including the 39 items. The next step was executed to validate the preliminary scale through the 2 times survey of 335 early childhood teachers and statistical analysis for the validity and reliability of the scale.
The final scale derived through the processes was composed of the 2 areas with 'understanding the play-based curriculum' and 'actualizing the play-based curriculum in preschool settings'. The 'understanding the play-based curriculum' area included the 18 items of 4 categories such as 'understanding child(ren)', 'understanding play', 'understanding the national curriculum', and 'educational beliefs'. The 'actualizing the play-based curriculum in preschool settings' area included the 21 items of 5 categories such as 'environmental support', 'communicational support', 'observation and evaluation', 'communal cooperation', and 'professionality'.
Finally, it suggested follow-up research with large scale sampling and statistical revisions for the more reliable and valid scale measuring the competences of early childhood teachers to implement the play-based curriculum.
