Abstract
IT제품은 과거에는 주로 실내에서 사용하는 거치형 제품이었으나, 구조·소재·성능 등의 발전으로 장소의 제약이 없이 사용 가능한 휴대용 제품으로 변모하였다. 그리고 범용적으로 사용되는 소프트웨어 또한 사용자의 패턴에 따라 기능과 형식이 변화하고 있다. 그와 함께 주변 장치 또한 그 역할의 변화가 필요하며, 그 중에서도 키보드·마우스로 대표되는 입력 장치는 이러한 변화에서 다양한 사용방법의 시도가 이루어지고 있으나 현재까지 과도기적인 상황으로서 현 세대의 표준이 될 입력 장치가 등장하지 않고 있다. 본 논문에서는 입력 장치를 대표하는 마우스를 중심으로 입력 장치 디자인에 대한 고찰을 통해 실제적인 사용성에 대한 방향을 모색하고자 한다
