“안녕들 하십니까?” 현상의 커뮤니케이션적 분석

Abstract

이 논문은 2013년 12월부터 다음해 1월까지 한국사회을 휩쓴 대자보 운동인 “안녕들 하십니까?”현상을 니클라스 루만의 체계이론을 통해 분석한 것이다. 2013년 12월 10일 고려대학교의 주현우는 “안녕들 하십니까?”라는 제목의 대자보를 붙였고, 이후 20대 대학생을 포함한 각계각층의 사람들이 그들의 다양한 의견을 대자보를 통해 표현하였으며, 정치계, 학계, 대중매체 등 다양한 영역에서 이 현상에 대해 주목하였다. 이 논문도 그러한 주목 중 하나이다. 하지만 이 논문은 대자보 현상 자체보다도 이러한 현상을 가능하게 했던 원동력을 커뮤니케이션적인 측면에서 관찰하고자 한다. 루만의 이론에서 사회의 구성요소는 인간이 아닌 커뮤니케이션이다. 그리고 사회는 체계/환경의 차이로 관찰해야 한다. 인간은 중요하지만 사회의 환경일 뿐이다. 사회는 커뮤니케이션이 커뮤니케이션을 스스로 생산하는 자기생산체계이다. 따라서 대자보라는 매체/형식을 가지고 지속적으로 커뮤니케이션한 안녕들?운동을 이 논문에서는 루만의 이론을 통해 분석하고자 한다. 다음으로 사회가 개인들의 단순한 집합보다 복잡하듯이, 사회적 현상 역시도 공시적이며 역사적으로 형성된 맥락으로부터 자유로울 수 없다. 그래서 이 논문은 안녕들?운동을 분석하며, 특히 ‘20대’에 주목하고자 한다. 안녕들?운동은 지금의 20대라는 사회적 맥락과 맞닿아 있다. 지금 우리 사회의 20대에게 취업난과 같은 경제적 고충은 안녕들?운동의 발생에 잠재적인 기반이 되었을 것이다. 마지막으로 안녕들?운동이 오늘날 사회에서 미치는 기능을 파악할 것이다. 그래서 이 논문은 항의운동으로서 안녕들?운동을 관찰했다. 현대 사회는 기능적으로 분화된 사회이다. 그래서 현대 사회는 부분기능체계들을 조종하거나 통제할 수 있는 중심은 없다. 기능체계들은 독립적으로 기능할 뿐, 전체 사회에 대한 책임 지지 않는다. 그런데 항의운동은 마치 자신은 사회 바깥에 있는 것처럼 사회를 비판한다. 따라서 이 논문은 항의운동의 이 점을 관찰하였다.

This dissertation observed about a “How are you all doing? event”, the movement as a big-character poster, widespread in the Korea society form December 2013 to January 2014 by Social Systems Theory of Niklas Luhmann. it was begun by Joo, Hyen-Woo in Korea university who posted the “How are you all doing?” as a big-character poster, after than, people of various levels of society include 20s university students are express their thoughts through a big-character poster. And diverse of field like politics, academics and mass media focused on this phenomenon. This dissertation is one of that. but it’s going to observation from communication angles as make this movement with force rather than just not human being but communication. And society have to be observed by difference between system/environment. Human being is not important but only exist by environment of society. Society is ‘Autopoiesis System’, produced by itself as communication as communication. Thus, this dissertation will analysis “How are you all doing?”, the movement that communicated consistently with media/form as a big-character poster through theory of Luhmann. Next, as society is more complicated than simply gathering of individuals, social phenomenon also cannot be free form synchronic, context of formed historically. So, the objective of this dissertation is to analysis the “How are you All doing? movement”, especially focus on 20s. The “How are you All doing? movement” and contemporary 20s social context are connected. Contemporary our society’s 20s are suffering from unemployment crisis. These economic difficulty of 20s may virtual based on occurrence of the “How are you all doing? movement”. At the conclusion, it will be understanding of function in modern society. Thus, this dissertation observed the “How are you all doing?” event as protest movement. Modern society is functional differentiated. So, there are no central systems of partially and functional as can be managed or controlled. Functional systems just function, it doesn’t take responsibility for a whole society. But, protest movement criticize a society like they are out of society. Thus, this dissertation observed it of protest movement.
