Abstract

Recently, by the international exposition in Yeosu Korea 2012, the added value of ocean was noticed and the research on ocean industry such as ocean resource and oceanic facility is being carried out, and by the increase of national income level and leisure time, the interest of marine tourism have increased. In contrast of the social flow, Busan although having an advantageous characteristic of area, the problem such as deteriorated marina port, lack of waterfront facility and inefficient marina space are rising. Representatively, Busan Suyeong bay marina is delayed on the redevelopment projects being carried out, due to not the competent authority and inhabitant acceptance of an opinion. Founded in 1986, since the 86 Asian Games and 88 Seoul Olympics has been utilized by the stadium yacht. But now, the approximately 20 years after the aging concrete public square, lose identity of design, overloaded with equipment such as yachts because citizens cannot serve as a resting space. Therefore, the universal design should be applied to the largest Suyeong bay marina Busan in Korea such as increased functionality and facilities improve. After that It will be waterfront complex space for the citizens.
