시네틱스를 활용한 포스터 디자인 교육 연구

Abstract
They say that the current education needs change and many changes have been tried. But we can find indoctrination is still being done at school. The Commission on the 18th Presidential Transition pushed ahead not unilateral schooling but 'the education to cultivate visions and talents' and, at the same time, suggested a direction of 'education for invention and upright character'. Therefore, to meet the demand of the day, school should reject uniform education and try changes constantly to enable students' self directed learning and active study through inventive and free thoughts.
In this point of view, design education is very meaningful. Because creativity and free thoughts can be developed through the education of design that makes and expresses ideas. In particular, poster design, which has the longest history in graphic design, is the typical and familiar area to middle school students. To them who have competed in many various poster contests since elementary school, poster design is the familiar one in which they can express creatively the message to deliver. In this sense, many specific studies are needed for more systematic poster design education.
The main purpose of this study is to propose the creative methods of solving problems by getting ideas or hints from a variety of analogy, using Synectics method, in relation to the poster design education in the secondary art curriculum.
To do this, first, I would like to examine the concepts, the features, the educational significances, and the importances of Synectics and poster design, through literature review and previous theses analyses. Second, to inspect the current state of poster education in the secondary art, I examine the present middle school art curriculum and determine the situation and the problems of the current poster design education based on the textbook. Third, on the basis of the theoretical background of the previous chapters, I suggest the applicability of Synectics to design education. I apply poster design using Synectics to actual class according to educational aim and plan, and verify and evaluate the results of class. I want to prove the possibility of developing poster design instructional method through this study analysis.
I expect the educational value to be realized when students express their thoughts in various and free ways, by overcoming the limit of the existing middle school poster design education and enabling more systematic education. We see the positive schooling effect when learners can think independently, derive ideas voluntarily and positively, and solve problems by experiencing fresh educational process.
