그라비어 인쇄에서 비도피지의 기공도에 따른 잉크 전이에 관한 연구
- Abstract
- Gravure printing is a promising technique in manufacturing of advanced electronic components. Although it is no doubt that understanding ink transfer mechanism in gravure printing process is necessary to achieve high printing quality, investing the relationship between inks and paper is experimentally difficult due to high printing speed and size of the cell.
In this paper, ink transfer mechanism with regard to porosity in gravure printing was simulated by using package software Polyflow based on Navier-Stokes equation. IGT printability tester was used to compare with experiment and simulation data. The aim of this research is to expect increase of ink transfer in uncoated paper which has high porosity at high pressure. However, ink transfer at high velocity was not affected by porosity because there is no time to transfer ink. The simulation results show that almost the same as the experiments and changes of printing quality according to porosity of uncoated papers and printing pressure could be expected.
