자료포락분석을 이용한 근해어업 생산성 비교 분석

Abstract
This study is to compare two results which estimated a dynamic productive efficiency of 13 off-shore fisheries utilizing the input-oriented Malmquist productivity index model and DEA-Window model. Two models consider a number of employees and horsepower as input factors and a catch of fish and fishery income as output factors. The period of analysis is 2004-2013.
The results of analysis of the MPI showed us that there was 7.6% annual reduction in the overall total factor productivity during the period of analysis, from 2004 to 2013. In the period of 2008-2009, MPI is the highest yearly average. In particular Large otter trawl had recorded the highest MPI of 1.918 with the highest TECI, PECI, and SECI being each 1.297, 1.479, and 1.180. On the other hand, the geometric mean MPI is the lowest in the period of 2011-2012. Most especially Anchovy trawl had showed the lowest MPI of 0.674.
Results of the DEA-Window analysis showed that the efficiency of the Large purse seine is the highest and most stable. After the result of comparison between DEA-Window and MPI, MPI is more suitable to estimate a fisheries productivity than DEA-Window.
