해상안전교육과 승선경험이 선박구명설비 의식에 미치는 영향

The distress accident refers to a state that the man's life and body, the safety of the shipment, airplane, and water leisure apparatus become dangerous due to the sinking, stranding, overturn, clash, fire, malfunctioning, and crash of the shipment, airplane, and water leisure apparatus in the sea or river(water disaster relief law). Since the marine distress accident takes place in the sea or river, it takes a long time to rescue compared to the ground and the rescue time is different depending on the weather and the regional feature. If there is a possibility of affecting the vessel seaworthy or the maintenance of the human life safety, the safest and most desirable ship-abandoning way is to wear the life jacket and board the life raft or life boat.
Most crews and marine workers know this fact. However, given the marine corps camp accident(2013) and Sewolho accident(2014) which took place recently, people could never use the life-saving apparatus actually. It was analyzed through the questionnaire what effect the education about the marine life-saving apparatus had on the marine life-saving apparatus and it was analyzed what effect it had on the awareness of the marine life-saving apparatus depending on the boarding experience. Brainstorming was conducted with specialists in charge of the marine life-saving apparatus on this ship in order to improve the safety awareness of the life-saving apparatus. The object of this study is to survey the awareness on the life-saving apparatus before and after completing the marine safety education and depending on the boarding experience, and to provide the basic material for improving the awareness on the life-saving apparatus of crews.
As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed the safety awareness, ship-abandoning awareness, life-saving apparatus awareness, and life-saving apparatus awareness in terms of the education need of the marine life-saving apparatus became high in most respondents after they completed the education about the marine life-saving apparatus, and it was confirmed although the boarding experience was high in terms of the safety awareness and the ship-abandoning knowledge, it was negative when it came to the education about the life-saving apparatus awareness and the marine life-saving apparatus. And, brainstorming was carried out with respect to a way to improve the crews' awareness about the life-saving apparatus.
