A Study on the Development Trend of Metal Halide Lamp Stabilizer Technology through Patent Analysis
Abstract
In the ship equipment industry, large heavy industry companies are actively engaged in R&D projects, but medium-sized and small-sized ship equipment lacks research on technology development. In particular, research on R&D-related technology in fish-gathering lamp stabilizers, one of the products of ship equipment, is concentrated on LED fish-gathering lamp stabilizers, but the technology development of metal halide lamp stabilizers is very insufficient.
As the technology of the ship equipment industry continues to change, the ship equipment industry needs to take a leap to the world level and innovate R&D technology to lead the market. In this situation, the metal halide lamp stabilizer industry has not developed R&D technology for decades, so it is necessary to explore and study the direction of the technology development of the fish lamp stabilizer industry.
In this study, patent data from Korea, the United States, Japan, Europe and China are studied to understand the technological development trend and direction of fish-gathering lamp stabilizer industry.
Out of 946 patents obtained by searching for patents in five countries, 17 were finally extracted.
Among the 17 patents extracted from the fish-gathering lamp stabilizer industry, Asian countries such as China, Korea, and Japan are actively applying, probably because the manufacturers of fish-gathering lamp stabilizers are concentrated in China, Japan, and Korea.
The core keywords of the stabilizer are "stabilizer control, miniaturization, longevity, remote control, overcurrent protection, illumination control, and unnecessary electromagnetic wave attenuation." The key words of the patent are patents on electronic stabilizers, patents on land electronic stabilizers below 1 kW, and patents on high capacity (above 1.5 kW) stabilizers used in ships.
The fish-gathering lamp stabilizer industry, which uses metal halide lamps, has not developed technology for a long time and has been stagnant only in magnetic stabilizers. In order to lead new markets, develop new technologies such as quality improvement and price competitiveness, it is also necessary to develop new technologies such as fish-gathering lamp stabilizers, focusing on development keywords obtained through patent analysis.
Through this study, the technological development of fish-gathering lamp stabilizer industry is studied, and the direction of technological development of metal halide lamp stabilizer industry is studied.
