선박수리업 종사자의 개인역량과 직무만족, 직무몰입 그리고 직무성과에 관한 연구

- Abstract
- Since early 2000s, demand of ship-repair has been rapidly increased by increased new ship-building order owing to shipping business boom. Even after financial crisis, sustained demand persists as shipping companies extended ship life cycle.
In spite of consistent increase of world ship-repair demand, ship-repair business of our country is mostly operated by small enterprises. As young and competent manpower usually avoid ship-repair work because it is 3D (difficult, dangerous, dirty) business and its aging is accelerated, such work is mostly subcontracted and re-subcontracted due to increase of variable costs by labor and material cost rise.
Recently, the importance of manpower resources management and personal competence has been highlighted in ship-repair business.
This study hypotheses are presented as follows.
First, identify how job satisfaction, job involvement, and job performance are affected by personal competence of ship-repair workers.
Second, identify how job performance is affected by job satisfaction and job involvement of ship-repair workers.
By using SPSS 18.0, reliability, validity test and factor, regression analysis for each factor were performed.
As a result of hypothesis test through regression analysis, a hypotheses between personal competence and job satisfaction was adopted as a whole in terms of knowledge competence, skill competence and attitude competence. A hypothesis between personal competence and job involvement was adopted in terms of knowledge competence, skill competence and attitude competence. In a hypothesis between personal competence and job performance, knowledge competence and skill competence were adopted but attitude competence was dismissed. A hypothesis between job satisfaction and performance and that between job involvement and performance were adopted.
In this study in which an exploratory research was performed by targeting ship-repair workers, personal competence was modified to be matched with an environment of ship-repair workers by analyzing it applied to other industry through a preceding study and as a result of its analysis, most of analyses were adopted but attitude competence was dismissed even in a hypothesis between personal competence and job performance and therefore, a close analysis in this respect is considered to be required.
