배드민턴 지도자의 지도유형에 따른 동호인들의 강습·운동만족도&운동몰입에 미치는 영향

Abstract
This study aimed at examining the effect of badminton instructor's teaching style on badminton club members' satisfaction with exercise, thereby providing the instructors with fundamental data for the establishment of an effective teaching plan for badminton club members.
To this end, male and female adults aged 20 or more from users of five badminton centers in P Metropolitan City―A, B, C, D, E badminton center―and badminton club members who received lessons from the instructors at the five badminton centers from August to September 2015 were set as a population for this study. The samples of the study were selected using the convenience sampling method, one of non-probability sampling methods, and 350 questionnaires were distributed.
A survey was conducted involving badminton club members, who were briefed about this study before participating in the survey. The members answered the questionnaires at the information desk booth or lounge after playing badminton following self-administration method. Out of the collected questionnaires, a total of 324 questionnaires were actually used for analysis except for 26 questionnaires which were answered unfaithfully.
The collected data were analyzed using SPSS Ver. 12.0 program. The following results have been obtained from the study.
First, among the sub-factors of badminton instructor's teaching style, training and instructing behavior turned out to have the most positive effect on badminton club members' satisfaction with lesson, followed by social activity, positive rewarding behavior. Meanwhile, authoritarian behavior was found to exert a negative effect.
Second, among the sub-factors of badminton instructor's teaching style, training and instructing behavior turned out to have the most positive effect on the members' satisfaction with exercise, followed by social activity.
Finally, among the sub-factors of badminton instructor's teaching style, training and instructing behavior were found to have the post positive effect on the members' commitment to exercise, followed by positive rewarding behavior and social activity. Meanwhile, authoritarian behavior turned out to have a negative effect.
