대학생의 불심검문에 대한 인식조사 연구
- Abstract
- To survey a recognition on random questioning in the 4-year university students in Busan area, a questionnaire survey was conducted targeting 229 men and women. For the mean difference in a group as for totally 51 items, Scheffé test was carried out with t-test, F-test, and post-test. To verify a difference in distribution, χ2 test was implemented. For a relational analysis, Pearson's correlation analysis was carried out. The following are the conclusions.
The subjects did not have many experiences on random questioning, but had a high intention of cooperation with thinking it is naturally a civic duty. There was also a case of not thinking that way. But the greater part included an opinion of cooperation given not neglecting procedure.
It was moderate level in the awareness on an effect of the random questioning on crime prevention and in thinking that the random questioning will be helpful for the crime prevention. Compared to women, men thought that an electronic anklet is more effective for the crime prevention. In terms of CCTV, there was no difference by gender or by age. But the perception on an effect of crime prevention was very high.
The random questioning was recognized to violate human rights. But its level was low with being less than moderate. Also, a plain-clothes policeman was perceived to need to present ID card in case of the random questioning.
Random questioning itself was realized to be legitimate and to have effectiveness as well. And the objective and reason of the questioning were desired to be explained obviously.
It was moderate level in the awareness as saying that the activities on the stop & question in the random questioning, on the voluntary accompany, and on the personal belongings inspection should be made by the rules. There was no difference in a perception by gender on the stop & question, the personal belongings inspection, and the voluntary accompany. However, there was a difference in stop & question by age. The ages of 23-24 were most positive. The voluntary accompany was most affirmative in less than 20 years old. There was no age-based difference in the personal belongings inspection.
As for a relationship between the cooperation level with random questioning and the perception on random questioning, men showed a negative correlation in which the more cooperation with random questioning leads to the higher level in the human rights violation. Women indicated a positive correlation as saying of being positive in voluntary accompany. Even by age, a positive correlation as saying of being positive in voluntary accompany was shown. But a different result was indicated only in more than 25 years old. The cooperative level with random questioning and the effect of crime prevention showed a positive correlation. University students' recognition on random questioning was very cooperative with performing the police duty.
