한국 전자와 자동차기업의 중국투자 입지선정 요인에 관한 연구

Abstract

As the economy develops rapidly in China, the investment of Korean enterprises in China is increasing and becomes an important part of China’s foreign investment. The distribution of Korean enterprises in China shows a tendency from the North to the South and from the East to the West, which also has influence on the regional economic development in China. Therefore, it is of great academic value to study the influential elements on the location choice of the direct investment in China. Based on the theories and studies of FDI location choice, this paper analyzed the decisive elements of location choice of the direct investment of Korean automobile enterprises and electronic enterprises by combining the theoretical basis with the basic theories of regional economics.the results show that in the direct investment in China of Korean automobile enterprises and electronic enterprises, labor, the scale of domestic market, the policies of the government and the aggregation degree are the decisive elements of location choice. The decisive elements of automobile enterprises and electronic enterprises are different and the decisive elements of big enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises are different. The automobile enterprises are mainly influenced by the policies of the governments, while the electronic enterprises are mainly influenced by cheap labor. From the perspective of industrial aggregation degree, Korean electronic enterprises fully used the electronic industry clusters in China when doing direct investment, while the Korean automobile enterprises are not influenced by China’s automobile industry clusters.
