- Abstract
- For the fresh statement of fish, we need low temperature. This is just cold storage at -2.0℃ ~ -1.5℃, not refrigeration. This temperature is the point at which seawater turns into solid phase. The important factors to make fish fresh are temperature of ice, salinity of seawater to make ice, size and shape of ice. So we need system to make ice more proper temperature, tiny size, smooth shape not to hurt the fish which is taken on the fishing boat. In this paper, an experimental analysis on the performance of 1-stage vapor compression refrigeration system and 2-stage vapor compression refrigeration system which is used for ice-machine is presented. After selecting proper refrigeration system, we had an experimental study on ice-making heat transfer characteristic. To calculate the COP of two system, we got the data : temperature, pressure, flow rate, power consumption of compressor. And to calculate the coefficient of convection heat transfer, we measured the temperature level of many points of SSHE(Scraped Surface Heat Exchanger).
The results of these experiments is followed : The COP of 1-stage refrigeration system for ice-machine increases with increasing the RPM of screw-scraper. and the COP of 2-stage refrigeration system for ice-machine increases with increasing evaporating temperature and the RPM of motor of drum evaporator. The coefficient of convection heat transfer of internal side and external side of inner tube increases with increasing the RPM of screw-scraper and flow rate of brine.
