Mobile Cloud Accounting Application For Small Medium Micro Enterprises (SMMES) in Indonesia

Abstract

Accounting information has an important role to achieve success of the business, including small businesses. Accounting information could be the basis for economic decision making in the management of small and medium enterprises. Indonesian SMMEs were known with the lack of awareness to adopt financial accounting. Furthermore, lack of knowledge in financial accounting is the main barrier factor here. A financial application where convenient to use to make financial report might be a solution of this problem. This study presented a mobile cloud accounting application as a financial application to help Indonesian SMMEs in writing financial report refer to Financial Accounting Standards for Entities without Public Accountability (SAK ETAP) of Indonesia namely AppCounting.
