Alternative Title: The Effect of Cargo-Working Employee's Recognition of Working Environment on the Job Satisfaction and an Oraganization Commitment in Port Indusrty

Abstract: Globally, more than 90 percent of all international commerce takes place via sea freight. In terms of container cargo volume, Busan Port is the world's sixth-largest Port thanks to its geographical conditions. In addition to the geographical advantage, cargo working industry that meets customers' demand by operating delivery system 24-hours also contributed to the growth of Busan Port as a global hub port. However, there are not enough researches and studies on working condition of sevedore, even though the port industry heavily relies on human resources. Therefore, this study identifies the awareness of working environment of cargo-working employee's in Busan Port, and their satisfaction rate on their working environment such as two shifts in a 24-hour period.
