실적선 DB를 이용한 보트 초기설계시스템 개발

Abstract

No matter what kind of vessel, the designers need much information from similar design projects to decide the basic ship particulars at initial design stage. Most of that information can be obtained by investigating and analyzing the performed ship data that are similar to the target ship. In case of the boats dealt with in this paper, the designers also need a lot of performed information and the design parameters at initial stage may affect directly the key capability of the boats like speed, weight and stability. In this study, Boat Initial Design System(BIDS) was developed on the base of performed data over than 700 boats, and estimated its efficiency through an example design project. In this paper, the first part explains the database structure and how to derive the principal dimensions from the database, the second part contains an example project(a patrol boat/intercepter) to present the deriving process of main particulars and performance analysis of the results.
