한국과 미얀마의 국제개발협력 방안에 관한 연구

Abstract

In 2010, Myanmar entered in the democratic circle and got the attention from the international community. Meanwhile, Myanmar show its improvement of economic development and mention the needs of international cooperation for its development. However, in order to focus on Myanmar’s economic development, we need to understand the connection between the people and its education system, which are the driving force and components of its economic development. At present, training and vocational education are indispensable in Myanmar. Therefore, training and vocational education should be accompanied with the standard education system of Myanmar to promote its human resources. The experience of aids and related researches are rare in the training and vocational education sector in Myanmar. This research is a basic study and has been analyzed on the training and vocational education in Myanmar. It provides basis directions on the related sector and points out the areas of necessary cooperation in this sector. To motivate the importance of Myanmar's development cooperation with Korea, this paper is researched on the vocational education and training system of Korea, analyzing in the case of Vietnam supported by Korea, and the analysis of Korea's assistance to Myanmar. This research also accomplished by making survey and questionnaires applied to Myanmar people who are educated in the technical training system of Korea. Therefore, this research provides the necessary key points of cooperation for the development of training and vocational education in Myanmar and ways to improve building the cooperation effectively. The analysis and survey process presented in this study will be helpful as a basic data by suggesting the directions for further training and vocational education in Myanmar.
