Abstract

This research aims to study for improving the upper floor landscape in urban street building. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, The most form of the upper building in Jung-ang street is box type. The upper floors were mostly decorated with the structure. Or were setbacks. They're no special feature. Second, as a result of analyzing the form of rooftop, flush type and projection type was most. In order to secure the pressure on the top floor, the water tank and elevator machine room were placed vertically. Rooftop height sharply protruding shape. So The main building and rooftop is so heterogeneous. Especially billboards or advertising towers which is installed at the upper floor are too large. Third, Construction of the exterior wall is to be a mix of stone and glass format. So unity of the material is felt. However, some sections of the outer wall is a large painting to be finished. So the atmosphere is in contrast. Fourth, 11 floors or more large-scale commercial facilities and business facilities are concentrated around the major station area such as Busan station and Seo-myeon station. Recent large-scale residential and office facilities were built in Dongnae station to Guseo station. There is a difference between the height of the surrounding buildings. It causes an imbalance of the skyline. The results are presented in summary, Recent large buildings is increasing gradually. However, part of the roof and rooftop covered by the design plans tend to neglect. In particular, the emphasis on each company's brand image of outdoor advertising are pointed out many problems. Rooftop upper part of the future planning a sharp overhang form to be avoided. Installed on the roof of the facility to other cases should not be exposed to the outside. Specifically, the main avenue for large-scale residential facilities plan shall refrain. Or it is legal to take the scale needs to be limiting. But most of all, by providing guidelines for the design of the plan, to increase the quality of urban streetscape should be induced.
