산업단지 주변 대기 중 PAHs(Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons)의 프로파일 특성 및 가스-입자상 분배특성에 관한 연구
- Abstract
- The profile patterns and characteristic of gas-particle partitioning of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons(PAHs) in ambient air from the industrial complex were studied. The samples from the point A, B and C were collected twice with high volume air samplers. Total 7 samples at the point A and B were gathered, and the 6 samples at the point C were collected in September 11~19th, 2012. 8 samples at those points were taken in November 14~21st, 2012. These ambient samples were separately gathered with total suspended particle phase and gaseous phase.
The profile patterns showed that the specific predominant chemical species from each point were not found, however the naphthalene forming 24∼30% and the phenanthrene forming 21∼35% were relatively higher than other PAHs in the first sampling period. During the second experimental period, the contribution rates of naphthalene and phenanthrene were 7∼12% and 17∼21%, respectively.
Total concentration of ∑PAHs of gaseous phase and particle phase were respectively 0.62∼25.9 ng/m3 (average 11.03 ng/m3) and 0.59∼3.05 ng/m3(average 1.37 ng/m3) at point A, 0.02∼8.01 ng/m3 (average 3.48 ng/m3) and 0.84∼5.32 ng/m3(average 2.66 ng/m3) at point B, and 0.05∼8.17 ng/m3 (average 6.09 ng/m3) and 0.38∼3.46 ng/m3(average 1.66 ng/m3) at point C during the first experimental period.
In the second period, the concentration of ∑PAHs of gaseous phase and particle phase at each point was 12.62∼42.75 ng/m3 (average 22.89 ng/m3) and 14.45∼24.33 ng/m3(average 11.22 ng/m3), 10.09∼38.72 ng/m3 (average 23.73 ng/m3) and 4.61∼25.76 ng/m3 (average 12.5 ng/m3), and 1.26∼38.02 ng/m3 (average 20.54 ng/m3) and 3.02∼22.58 ng/m3(average 10.48 ng/m3), respectively.
In comparison with the point C, the point A having the highest concentration level had 1.8 times higher concentration of gaseous phase and 0.8 times lower for particle phase in the first period. Furthermore, the concentration of gaseous and particle phase at the point A were respectively 1.1 times and 1.1 times higher during the second period.
In the comparison of the first and the second experimental period, the point A, B and C respectively had twice, 6.8 times and 3.4 times higher gaseous concentration and 8.2 times, 4.7 times and 6.3 times higher particle concentration during the second period.
According to gaseous-particle partitioning result, PAHs having low molecular weight are mainly distributed in gaseous phase. On the other hand, the PAHs having high molecular weight are principally in particle phase.
From this research, the temperature and wash out by rainfall were considered main factors which influence gaseous-particle behaviors of PAHs.
The result by Junge-Pankow model suggests that the point A, B and C were less contaminated than contamination level at background site.
This research proposed that the gaseous-particle behavior of PAHs is mainly influenced by temperature and wash out by rainfall as compared with the influence by industrial complex.
